Benedict R. Tugonon

Benedict Tugonon is the Head of the Tax Department. He also served as the President of the Tax Management Association of the Philippines in 2016.  

​

He joined the law firm in February 2000, and has since undergone an extensive and hands-on training in Tax Law under Attys. Wilfrido Sanchez and Ruel Soriano.

​

He has advised numerous clients on the tax aspect of major transactions, including property acquisitions and transfers, corporate mergers and reorganization, tax audit, and estate tax planning.

​

Mr. Tugonon has also advised and assisted several multinational clients in structuring their investments in the Philippines in a tax-efficient manner.  He periodically conducts tax seminars and lectures to tax professionals and clients.
